MTid Regulations

Important:

These MTid Regulations (hereinafter the "Regulations") are binding regulations between you (also referred to as the "user") and Meitu and its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as "Meitu") that govern your acquisition, use and maintenance of an MTid and your use of the services provided by Meitu ("MTid Services") . Meitu hereby reminds you that if you wish to use MTid Services, you must first carefully read these Regulations, especially those underlined and in bold that exclude or limit the liability of Meitu and limit your rights. Please review these Regulations and choose whether to accept or reject them. (If you are a minor, you must review these Regulations in the company of your legal guardian, who must decide whether to accept or reject them). If you do not agree with these Regulations and/or any changes to them made by Meitu from time to time, you should refrain from using or cancel MTid Services. Any use of an MTid by you will be deemed as your acceptance of these Regulations in full.

Article 1 General Provisions

1.1 These Regulations constitute an agreement between Meitu and the user that governs the acquisition and use of MTid. These Regulations apply to all software, hardware and services provided by Meitu when you sign up for an MTid, or generate an MTid by any other means.

1.2 Your use of the software, hardware and services provided by Meitu via an MTid is also subject to any applicable separate service agreements and management regulations for the software, hardware and services.

Article 2 Your MTid

Your MTid applies to all software, hardware and services provided to you by Meitu when you sign up for an MTid or generate an MTid by any other means. Your MTid can be used to identify you. Your MTid will be owned by Meitu, and you are only entitled to limited use of your MTid under these Regulations.

Article 3 Using Your MTid

You agree to comply with the provisions of any separate service agreements and management regulations for the software, hardware and services provided by Meitu that govern the creation, access, use, suspension, termination and recovery of your MTid, and agree to abide by the following regulations:

3.1 Only you as the initially registered user of your MTid have the right to use your MTid. Without permission from Meitu, you may not give, lend, rent, transfer or sell your MTid or the virtual currency, items or special discount vouchers, etc. in your MTid to any other person. If this rule is violated, Meitu shall have the right to cancel both your and the transferee's rights in relation to your MTid, and any losses incurred shall be borne by you.

3.2 If you violate any of these Regulations, or Meitu deems your behavior to be harmful to the reputation and interests of Meitu or others, Meitu will have the right to terminate your use of your MTid without giving any compensation to you.

3.3 You may not use another person's MTid or sign up for an MTid with malicious intent. Meitu will assess and handle cases of such suspected behavior at its sole discretion.

If you violate these Regulations, any separate service agreements and/or any management regulations, you agree that Meitu and its affiliates may, at its discretion or as required by law and policies, and without prior notice to you, (1) use technical means to remove, hide or disconnect links to your user information and content stored in your MTid; (2) suspend or terminate the software license granted to you and cease to provide technical services, and take measures including but not limited to restricting your use of your MTid, or freezing or terminating your MTid at your risk of being unable to use the virtual items or cash in your MTid; and/or (3) refer you to an administrative enforcement agency or judiciary authority to determine your legal liability. You shall be solely liable for any damage caused to any third party (including Meitu and its affiliates) as a result of your violation of these Regulations, any applicable separate service agreements and/or any management regulations and compensate Meitu and its affiliates for losses incurred.

Article 4 Loss and Recovery of Your MTid

4.1 If you cannot sign in to your MTid because you have forgotten your password, your MTid has been stolen or for any other reason, you may file a complaint using the contact information provided by Meitu; however, Meitu does not warrant or guarantee that your MTid will be recovered.

4.2 If Meitu has reasonable grounds or evidence after receiving report or conducting investigation to believe that the current user of the Meitu Account is not the original registrant of the account, Meitu shall have the right to take corresponding actions, including but not limited to freezing the account, suspending the account, stopping providing services to the account, changing the binding method and canceling the account.

Article 5 Acquisition, Use and Maintenance of Your MTid and Information Security

5.1 Acquisition of your MTid

You may sign up for an MTid or acquire an MTid by other means through various existing and future new channels, including but not limited to:

5.2 Account Information

5.2.1 You undertake to acquire an MTid using your true personal details as prompted. You guarantee that the personal details provided by you are true, complete and accurate, and you accept that you will be legally liable for this information provided by you in accordance with relevant laws and regulations as well as these Regulations.

5.2.2 If there are any changes to your personal details after you have acquired an MTid, you must update the personal details stored in your MTid as soon as possible to ensure that this information remains true, complete and accurate at all times.

5.3 Use and maintenance of your MTid

5.3.1 Meitu has the right to examine, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, whether the personal details provided by you when signing up for an MTid are true, complete and accurate, and use appropriate technologies and take reasonable measures to guarantee the security and validity of your MTid. You have an obligation to use your MTid username and password carefully and responsibly, and keep this information safe and secure. You shall be solely liable if the rights of other users or any third party are harmed due to the loss of your password or the theft of your account as a result of your failure to comply with this obligation.

5.3.2 You shall be solely liable for the activities you perform when signed in to your MTid.

5.3.3 You shall promptly notify Meitu of any illegal use or other abnormal use of your MTid or your MTid password by others and may request that Meitu suspend access to and use of your MTid.

5.3.4 If you request that Meitu suspend access to and use of your MTid, Meitu shall have the right to verify your identity by asking you to provide the same personal details that you provided when creating your MTid.

5.4 Protection of your user information

It is Meitu policy to protect your personal information. Meitu will collect, use, store and manage your personal information in accordance with these Regulations and the Privacy Policy. We will not knowingly request or collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the age stipulated by law applicable to your region). If you are under 13, please do not send your personal information to us, including your name, address, phone number or email address. If you reject the Privacy Policy in whole or in part or have any questions, you must cease using Meitu and may contact Meitu using the contact information provided in these Regulations.

Article 6 Disclaimer

6.1 You understand and agree that you acquire information through MTid Services at your own risk, and that you are liable for any resulting system damage, loss of information and any other losses.

6.2 Meitu does not guarantee the accuracy and integrity of the content and information transmitted through the services of Meitu, nor will Meitu be liable for such content and information. You use such content and information at your own risk, and Meitu shall have the right to remove or retain any such content and information at its own discretion.

6.3 You understand and agree that there is a risk that MTid Services will be interrupted by force majeure while you are using MTid Services, in which case, Meitu will promptly take measures to address the service interruption. To the extent permitted by law, Meitu will not be liable for the interruption of services caused by

Article 7 Suspension and Termination of Services

7.1 If you violate these Regulations, Meitu will have the right to suspend or terminate one or more of the services provided to you by Meitu, and if you seriously violate these Regulations, Meitu will terminate your right to use your MTid.

8.2 Governing law and dispute resolution: These Regulations are established, come into force, and shall be enforced and interpreted under the law of the People's Republic of China, without reference to its conflict of laws provisions. Any disputes arising hereunder shall also be resolved in accordance with the law of this jurisdiction. These Regulations are entered into in Siming District, Xiamen, Fujian Province, People's Republic of China. You agree to submit any disputes between you and Meitu or any of its affiliates to a people's court with jurisdiction in the place where these Rules were entered into for exclusive jurisdiction. If any of these Regulations is held to be invalid or unenforceable for whatever reason, the remaining rules shall remain in full force and effect and be legally binding upon you and Meitu.
